Burien is my home and I want the very best for our city: safe streets, clean parks, livable neighborhoods, and opportunities for all of our residents. I will strive to make Burien safer and more equitable. But most of all, I want to hear from you, what you love about Burien, and how we can improve our city. Together, we can build a healthy, safe, and equitable Burien.

Respectfully,

Statement:

The City Council’s role is important but not complicated. Its principal mandates are to keep our streets safe and to foster a healthy economic environment. If elected, I will champion dynamic, targeted law enforcement and I will support policies that foster a thriving business community.

My opponent, Mr. Olguin, has lived here less than one year and his contributors are largely outside special interest groups. I have been your neighbor for over 16 years and my campaign is funded primarily by the residents and business owners of Burien. If you desire a return to common sense and wish to resist the encroachment of extreme outside interests, I am your candidate.

I have a vested interest in Burien’s future and as your councilmember I will bring nonpartisan, pragmatic leadership absent of political theater and focused on the needs of every Burien resident. City government should be about results, not partisan politics.
