Occupation: Director of Marketing, HeR Interactive, Inc.
Statement:

Bellevue deserves a leader to represent our neighborhoods. My priority is the "Bellevue Way" - transparency, compassion, citizen involvement, and professionalism - to work for consensus on decisions that ensure a high quality of life.

Homelessness and drug addiction are crucial issues for Bellevue. I’ll strongly oppose any effort to place a heroin injection site in Bellevue. These sites are bad for residents, businesses, and those struggling with addiction. We need compassionate ways to help those struggling with addiction, not enablement.

I’ll also work on a homeless shelter plan that balances the interests of residents. As a boardmember of two nonprofits helping homeless families reach self-sufficiency, I gained a sobering, inspiring perspective. I'll use that experience and seek responsible solutions to homelessness.

Traffic and safety on our streets are enduring concerns. As a Parks & Community Services Board Member, and as Public Policy Committee Chair of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, I've seen good things being done within growing areas, but traffic congestion in Bellevue must be addressed. I'll work for new infrastructure and technology improvements without reducing existing lanes.

Join me in putting Bellevue neighborhoods first!

Endorsed: Bellevue City Councilmembers Conrad Lee, Jennifer Robertson, Ernie Simas, and Kevin Wallace.

Statement:

Bellevue is more vibrant, prosperous, and diverse than ever. We must preserve our thriving economy and quality of life while ensuring that our city provides opportunities for those struggling to make ends meet. We need smart, compassionate solutions for the issues facing Bellevue.

As a Democratic leader for many years, I share our city’s progressive values. If we work together, we can enhance the things that make Bellevue such an amazing place to live—great jobs, strong schools, an entrepreneurial spirit, natural beauty, and a generous heart.

As a single mother and business owner, I understand the need for fiscal responsibility.  I have helped families and businesses create their American Dreams as an immigration attorney. An Eastgate resident for more than 15 years, I want to serve on the City Council and shape the future of Bellevue.

Endorsed by King County Democrats, Bellevue Mayor John Stokes & Councilmember Lynne Robinson, BSD Board Director My-Linh Thai, US Congress Members Adam Smith & Pramila Jayapal; State Senators Lisa Wellman & Patty Kuderer, State Representatives Tana Senn, Judy Clibborn, Vandana Slatter, & Joan McBride; King County Councilmember Claudia Balducci, SEIU #6, National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington, and many more!
