I am honored to have been appointed as a Soos Creek Water & Sewer Commissioner and seek to retain the position.
My background is in the private sector, all related to the building industry. I was a superintendent in the residential and commercial markets prior to owning my own successful general contracting business for 30 years with up to 35 employees.
I continue to work in the industry as a project manager/salesman for Northwest Roof Service in Kent working with homeowners, property managers, commercial business owners and investors. I also hold a real estate broker’s license, assisting my wife Marti Reeder, Managing Broker of “Team Marti” with John L. Scott.
I believe I provide a fresh perspective to this position and will strive to utilize my background and experience in helping the district provide reliable, high quality water and sewer services to customers in an efficient and cost effective manner.
With the recent, unfortunate loss of commissioner Larry West, we must ensure good, effective leadership for the Soos Creek Water and Sewer District. I bring a unique set of skills to this commission which will benefit you and your family.
I have over 27 years of experience in the wastewater industry and have achieved the highest certification in this industry (Group IV) from Washington State. Working in nearly every facet of treatment/service for the last 27 years gives me an beneficial first hand knowledge that my opponent won't have. This experience will allow me to make sound and educated decisions when it comes to Soos Creek Water and Sewer District concerns. My experience in this industry makes me uniquely positioned to help keep operations efficient and your rates low.
Maintaining a high quality safe drinking water and proper wastewater service and low rates is my pledge to you as your Soos Creek Water and Sewer District commissioner. I am asking for your vote so I can use my 27 years of experience to help keep your water and sewer rates as low as possible. Please vote Micah Steinhauer for Soos Creek Water and Sewer commissioner position #2.
