There is no better place in the world to raise a family than Sammamish. The community, the schools, and the natural splendor are unrivaled. My family has lived on the Eastside for 45 years. I want Sammamish to remain exceptional amid unprecedented growth.
We all know the issues: balancing growth with the environment; the need for adequate infrastructure to manage traffic; maintaining the openness and safety of our community; and fiscal responsibility.
What we need is someone who can bring people together around solutions.
As a trained mediator and attorney, I have spent my entire career bringing diverse interests together toward common goals. I have served as a diplomat for the U.S. State Department and an advisor in the U.S. Senate, helping to negotiate bipartisan solutions. I have the passion, policy and legal experience to bring our community together around solutions that work for all Sammamish families. Vote Ryika!
Rituja Indapure

Rituja Indapure is an experienced leader who will be good steward of our land, protect the character of our neighborhoods, while supporting sensible growth that benefits us all.
She is a public school PTSA mom, director on non-profit board, tech industry professional and community volunteer who will ensure open, transparent government for all Sammamish residents.
As City Councilmember, Rituja will stand up for our shared priorities: developing solutions for smart growth, including transportation that serves our city; protecting our natural habitats; promoting environmental sustainability; and ensuring reliable police and fire and support services for everyone.
A compassionate leader who listens and ensures all voices are heard, Rituja will bring a nonpartisan, fiscally responsible and solutions-oriented approach to the Sammamish City Council.
That’s why she’s endorsed by:Sen. Lisa Wellman (D), Rep. Tana Senn (D), Rep. Roger Goodman (D), King County Democrats, 41st and 5th LD Democrats and many Sammamish residents.
Chris Ross

Our city must have a leader that truly represents the residents of Sammamish. Because of my civic leadership with Sammamish Kiwanis, city organizations, and homeowners’ associations, I know how to balance community priorities. I will constantly reach out for citizen input to actively work what matters.
Sammamish is challenged by their growing traffic problem with infrastructure falling behind growth. This rapid development going unchecked is eroding our natural environment. Additionally, Sammamish is facing looming deficits for the first time in its history. It is becoming increasingly important that future growth pay for itself.
We vitally need a councilmember with a vision that emphasizes long term planning. I will leverage over 30 years of professional financial experience, education, and community involvement to ensure the city meets these challenges while avoiding unnecessary tax burdens due to poor planning.
Together we can provide a listening, responsive, and effective conduit towards enhancing Sammamish.
