Education: Bachelors of Arts, Whitman College
Occupation: Marketing and Business Development Consultant
Statement:

Our trees, parks and amenities, paired with access to a vibrant high-tech corridor, have made Sammamish desirable.

However we’re at a critical stage. We could lose our identity as a leafy, green community. Our growing pains? Traffic, missing transit, sidewalks and trails, crowded ball fields – and more.

For 25 years, I’ve witnessed the change. While much is good, there’s more to do. My priority: sustainable growth management – preserving our natural environment, roads, safe neighborhoods, and financial responsibility.

I’ve been a CEO, with more than 20 years of senior management experience. I understand how to maintain a strong culture with tight financial controls.

As a court appointed special advocate for neglected children, I’m a strong voice for vulnerable populations. I’ve logged hundreds of hours with Cancer Lifeline, PTSA, Eastside Girls Lacrosse, and my HOA.

Elect me for focused, common sense initiatives to ensure Sammamish stays a great livable city.

Occupation: Attorney and Mom of 3
Statement:

As a mom of three young children, I am proud to be a resident of Sammamish. However, our City can and should do more to ensure that our city is family-focused. I will work tirelessly to bring the voices of families in our community to the table in every decision.

I believe we must balance rapid growth with sustainable infrastructure; preserve natural open spaces; reduce traffic to get residents off the road and home with their families; and raise awareness of the dangers of domestic violence and substance abuse in our community.

I believe our leadership should reflect the diversity and demographics of the families here in Sammamish and I am committed to making our city a place where all kids and families can thrive.

I ask for your vote. Endorsed by Senator Lisa Wellman, Representatives Tana Senn and Judy Clibborn, King County Democrats, and many more.
