Sawant-Jayapal Radical Left Tentacles Reach FW: Federal Way’s strange bedfellows of elected Republican & Closet Republican politicians (a clear majority) and Seattle-schooled, Radical Left activists embrace, so that we now have Sawantnesque Far Left social policies combined with Trickle-down, Far Right economics. All with an anti-renter vibe in City Hall. My mayoral campaign is the best way to reject all of these, and usher in a People’s Economics combined with Friendly Environmental, and Patriotic, Traditional, All-American Relief policies.
Establishment Tools: By implication, the local paper recently reminded would-be “unruly” politicos that it would be unwise for anyone to tangle with companies that buy ink by the barrel. No better reason that that to take what “Rogue-ner” & “Mr. Anonymous” say about me with a grain of salt. Ditto for the chameleon Municipal League of KC, although they once qualified me for the King County Council in 2009.
Federal Way has for years been a great place to work, raise a family and enjoy life. Unfortunately, rising crime, loss of jobs and a poorly run city government are threatening our quality of life. We need a new mayor to address these mounting problems before it’s too late.
I’m Susan Honda, your city council member and voted “Best City Leader” 3 years in a row. I’ve earned a reputation for bi-partisanship and for keeping an eye on city budget. I believe the city should focus on the basics: more police, more jobs and less congestion. This is why I’m running for mayor.
The decisions we make today about economic development, parks, housing, and how best to expand Sound Transit will decide if Federal Way remains a livable city with a vibrant economy.
My husband Bruce and I love this community, and know it deserves a better mayor.
Vote Honda.

Federal Way is a community on the rise and I am proud of the progress we have made together!
As your Mayor, I will continue to put public safety first. My administration has added police officers, confronted gang violence, and opened our first downtown police substation.
We are transforming our city center with Town Square Park, the Performing Arts & Event Center, and a new American Flag on Veterans Way, while signing a historic agreement with the University of Washington to bring a campus to Federal Way.
We have recruited new businesses and created hundreds of new jobs for our residents.
We have endeavored to solve the crisis of homelessness through our city’s first Homeless Women and Children’s Initiative and Encampment cleanup efforts.
I ask for your vote!
Supported by 6 out of 7 City Councilmembers; Federal Way Police and Firefighters Guilds; King County Executive and Sheriff.
Together, We Can!
