Statement:

As a Washington native, my roots here run deep. My wife and I have lived in Des Moines for 10+ years, raising our two beautiful daughters who love to swim. Whether it's at Mount Rainieer Pool, or Sisu Hus, swimming is an integral part of our family's life.

We love Des Moines; it's Parks, Recreation, & pools, and want to see them continue to grow and improve for this generation and many to come.

We've actively volunteered & participated in Des Moines Parks programs for over 5 years. I spent three seasons volunteering as a youth soccer coach for my eldest, down at the Field House. We enjoy spending time at the Marina, walking the Des Moines Creek Trail, and hanging out at the Quarterdeck on a sunny Summer evening. If elected, I commit to do my best to protect, preserve, and improve the Des Moines Pool District #5.
