Education: University of Washington Physician Assistant, Masters Physician Assistant University of Nebraska
Occupation: Physician Assistant King County hospitals, Naval Medical Officer (Ret)
Statement:

Access to local, affordable, preventive healthcare concerns members of our community and Snoqualmie Valley Hospital can respond to the challenge.  Evolving demographics will require more access to women’s health, mental health, pediatrics, occupational/sports medicine, and senior services.  It’s currently too far to travel for these services. There are many challenges ahead requiring seasoned leadership, experience, and vision.

I bring 40 years of experience as a healthcare provider credentialed at Fred Hutchinson, Virginia Mason, Valley, Boeing, Overlake, Proliance, and Veteran’s hospitals. I’ve led medical relief missions to Haiti and Uganda. Having been a gymnastics coach, hiker, and skier, I understand the need for sports medicine. Service on Issaquah Policy Planning and Development commissions also prepared me for this next step.

Throughout my career, compassionate healthcare has been my driving force.  I appreciate the strong support of valley voters and respectfully seek your vote and continued support.  Quality, best outcomes, sustainability!

Education: University of Oregon, Business Administration, Numerous Medical Credentials
Occupation: EMT and EKG Technician, Swedish Hospital; EMT Snoqualmie Fire Department
Statement:

I'm running for the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Board because I care deeply about the health of our community and believe we must expand access to quality care for everyone.

I currently serve on the Hospital’s Finance Committee, where I review key financial information monthly to help ensure transparency, accountability, and strong fiscal management. I have a firsthand insight into the challenges our hospital faces—and the steps we can take to improve services and outcomes.

For over 35 years, I’ve been serving as a Firefighter/EMT. I advocate for and support our aging population and those with intellectual, developmental, and physical challenges. I also work with our valley youth, creating and delivering programs focused on deadly substances like fentanyl. Professionally, I’ve worked for over 30 years in business executive roles and served 17 years as a Fire Commissioner. My medical, business, and public leadership, give me a unique and balanced perspective.
