It has been my pleasure to serve as commissioner to Valley Medical Center for the last 6 years. There have been numerous challenges. We had a pandemic and a lockdown. As we crawled out of that we had to evaluate our strategic alliance with the University of Washington. Sadly it was our decision that ths was not working for us. Looking forward to the next six years, we will completely unwind with the UW. We will be seeking another potential alliance. We will deal with any new issues that arise. As the most senior commissioner, I look forward to these challenges.
