Occupation: Commissioner, Hospital District No. 1; VP, Filipino Community of Seattle
Statement:

Our community deserves exceptional healthcare, and Valley Medical Center must remain a place where everyone receives quality care-regardless of income or background. As we face projected federal Medicaid cuts and ongoing challenges in private insurance, it's critical that we have strong leadership to protect and strengthen our hospital.

As your current Commissioner, I've worked hard to ensure Valley Medical Center stays financially strong and that our staff are respected, supported, and fairly treated. With my background as a union organizer and community leader, I bring a commitment to fairness, accountability, and putting people first.

My family has lived in this district since 1992, and we have relied on Valley Medical Center for our own emergency healthcare. I know how vital this hospital is to our community.

If re-elected, I will: Champion patient-centered care and access for all, especially our most vulnerable neighbors; Uphold transparency and fiscal responsibility for long-term stability; for fair treatment and support for hospital staff-because quality care starts with those who provide it.

I am honored to have earned the trust and endorsement of respected organizations, including King County Democrats, AP ACE PAC, and SEIU 1199NW.

Together, we can build a hospital that is responsive, resilient, and ready to meet the needs of everyone in our community. I respectfully ask for your vote for Commissioner Position No. 4- so we can continue this important work, together.
