Thank you for the trust you have placed in me. It has been my pleasure to serve the community as your commissioner and I look forward to continuing to serve in this capacity.

During my tenure, the board of commissioners and district staff have been working together to secure our future water supply, manage resources effectively, and streamline operations. We have been busy securing our future water supply by signing a new contract with Seattle Public Utilities that will take us decades into the future. We also have been replacing aging infrastructure and modernizing operations to serve generations to come.

For the next term, I am focused on improving efficiency while preserving the safety, reliability, and affordability of our water and sewer services. With the challenge of continued regional growth and tightening environmental regulations, we will need to stay agile and forward-thinking. I have full confidence in our experienced team of fellow commissioners, dedicated Soos Creek staff, and regional partners, that these challenges can and will be met effectively with our shared commitment to the district’s long-term success.
