It has been a privilege to serve you as your Lakehaven Commissioner over the past five years. I am passionate about water and the Federal Way community.  I bring skills in public administration, engineering, leadership and community service to lead the utility.

We have kept our rates among the lowest in the region, and have obtained a AAA bond rating through enacting sound fiscal policies.

The utility needs strong, sensible, qualified leadership by those who understand the needs of the community.  I am a professional engineer with master’s degrees in Public Administration and Civil Engineering (focused on hydraulics and hydrology).   Good engineering and planning are essential for the reliable water and sewer service that we all enjoy, and I bring this perspective to the board.

I care about our customers, and I work hard to promote policies which meet needs, and keep us safe and informed. I have served the community as chair of the Federal Way Parks Commission, and have led in several non-profit community organizations for over 30 years. I am motivated to provide great service and maintain our assets with reasonable rates. I humbly ask for your vote to continue serving Federal Way on the Lakehaven Board.

I am dedicated to preserving our community's exceptional water quality and affordability. Our water tastes great, a testament to the outstanding work of our skilled and knowledgeable staff who manage our water and sewer systems with expertise. They are doing a great job, and I have no intention of interfering with their proven success. As an immigrant, I deeply understand the challenges of a high cost of living and the sacrifices families make when prices rise. With inflation driving up costs for everyone, my primary goal as commissioner will be to keep water rates steady, ensuring residents continue to enjoy high-quality water without added financial strain. Vote for me to support affordability, excellence, and the talented team keeping our systems running smoothly.
