Statement:

Hello, Federal Way!

My name is Travis Baker, and I’m proud to be running for Water and Sewer Commissioner. As a longtime resident of Federal Way, I care deeply about the health, safety, and future of our community.

I’m a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, and I attended both Highline and Green River Community Colleges before earning my degree in Computer Animation from the Art Institute of Seattle. For over 20 years, I’ve lived in the Twin Lakes area and successfully operated my own design and marketing business.

Why am I running? Because I believe the health of our community and environment depends on the strength of our infrastructure—and right now, critical updates are being made to our aging water and sewer systems. We need clear communication, transparency, and public awareness about these changes. With my background in marketing and public outreach, I’m ready to engage our community through informative mailers, educational events, and a dedicated website to keep residents informed and involved. Let’s protect the future of Federal Way—together. I would be honored to earn your vote. Sincerely, Travis Baker Candidate for Water and Sewer Commissioner
