With over 20 years of hands-on wastewater experience as a Lead Operator, I understand what it takes to keep our sewer systems safe, efficient and environmentally responsible. I'm running for sewer commissioner to bring real world knowledge and accountability to the board.

I'm proud to have contributed to key projects like the development of a new clarifier at our treatment plant and the implementation of a state-of-the-art UV system to maintain the highest environmental standards.

As a long-time Des Moines resident, I understand the importance of balancing infrastructure growth with protecting our local environment. As Commissioner, I’ve also championed fair cost-of-living adjustments for our dedicated employees. In addition, I actively engage with the Washington Association of Sewer and Water Districts (WASWD) to advocate for our community within the broader network of water and sewer districts.
