It has been an honor to serve as Water Commissioner for the last 7 years.  A 4th generation Des Moines resident who believes in community service, I am the director of the local food bank and am on the Des Moines Farmers Market board of directors.

During my time as a commissioner, I have learned a great deal about our district operations and what matters to our customers. In the last 2 years, our board and staff have completed an update of the10-year plan for the district, which looks at potential infrastructure improvements, our daily routine, and our water capacity for the future.  I enjoy talking to community members about our water and have been able to bring feedback from customers directly to the board.
