Statement:

As your Covington Water District Commissioner, I’ve worked to limit rate increases and keep service reliable through strong leadership and community-focused planning. With over 41 years in the water industry, including work at the City of Auburn’s engineering department and a certified Water Distribution Manager, I bring deep expertise to every decision.

When elected to the board, Covington had some of the highest water rates in Washington. Since then, we’ve gone nine years without a rate increase. This was achieved by balancing the budget, streamlining operations, and partnering closely with staff to improve transparency and efficiency.

As the district grows, my priority is to secure long-term, sustainable water supply solutions that keep rates affordable while ensuring safe, high-quality drinking water. I’m committed to protecting the values that matter to our community: reliability, affordability, and trust. I’d be honored to earn your vote and continue serving with experience, accountability, and results.
