As a commissioner, my job is to represent the rate payer / customer in the management of the Coal Creek Utility District. Regardless of how well a utility is managed, it is important that the customer is represented regarding the finances and operations of the organization.  Since taking the position of commissioner a year ago, this has been my primary focus on every decision.

I have lived in Newcastle for over thirty years, have raised a family and enjoyed the unique rewards this area offers, and have been and still am a customer of Coal Creek Utility District.    A past background in engineering and management within a regulated utility gives me the experience to understand factors that affect decisions that must be made.   Coal Creek Utility District works hard to keep your water safe and your rates as low as possible, and the commissioners help ensure that this continues.
