I am running for re-election for King Co. Fire Dist. 43. As a current Commissioner for D43 for the past 7 yrs, I have been involved in the decision making processes that have enabled our communities to have safe, effective and efficient fire service for the citizens of the Maple Valley area, all at a reasonable cost. We made the decision to contract with Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority years ago and that has allowed us to upgrade our equipment and facilities to provide better service to our community and our fire personnel. I will continue to be a good steward of our funding and make decisions that benefit our service and safety.
