As your elected representative for Fire Protection District 20, I will bring the knowledge, skills, and abilities from my tenure as a Commissioner for Fire Protection District 10, and my passion for the fire service to this role. I have chaired the Board of Commissioners for District 10 and was also elected by my peers to sit as a Director for the regional fire service – Eastside Fire and Rescue. I am knowledgeable about what it takes to be effective in this role, and I am also an agent for positive change. While serving as Commissioner I was instrumental in starting a program for residents to work with EF&R on wild fire abatement by applying for neighborhood grants to remove brush from around their homes.
