Occupation: Director of Budget and Operations, Seattle University
Statement:

I was raised in Tukwila, educated in Tukwila, and I still call this city home. From elementary through Foster High, our schools helped shape who I am. I’m running for School Board to ensure every student receives the opportunity to thrive in a safe, supportive, and future-ready learning environment while making cost efficient decisions that strengthen our schools without compromising quality.

For over a decade, I’ve led financial and operational strategy in higher education. I currently manage multimillion-dollar budgets at Seattle University. With Tukwila schools facing a major budget crisis, we need leadership that’s not only experienced with numbers but deeply cares to the people behind them.

Our district faces a serious financial crisis. We need informed leadership to restore stability, embrace innovation, and build pathways to success. High-achieving students deserve access to rigorous coursework, cutting-edge technology, programs that prepare them for college and the workforce. Website: Papyan.Carrd.Co
