Education: Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics, U.S. Naval Academy
Occupation: Commercial Airline Captain, Navy Reserve Commander (not a DoD endorsement)
Statement:

As a father of three Tahoma students and long-time MV resident, I care deeply about our schools and community. I’ve been honored as CRES' Volunteer-of-the-Year two years in a row, and I'm entering my 3rd year as STMS' Family Support Partner.

As a prior Navy Reserve Commanding Officer, I’ve led teams through complex challenges by listening, building trust, and working together. That is the steady, collaborative, service-oriented approach I will bring to the board. I want to unite our community around our shared commitment to students and teachers, no matter our differences.

I'm not seeking political party endorsements, but I am seeking support from all of Tahoma. I believe schools should unite us. With greater transparency, teamwork, and respect, we can face every challenge/opportunity and keep making Tahoma better. I am ready to listen, learn, and serve with humility and purpose, for Tahoma. Endorsements: Washington Education Association; Tahoma Education Association

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Lewis-Clark State College. Doctorate of Nursing Practice, University of Washington
Occupation: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner
Statement:

As TES PTO President, opportunities to work closely with district leaders have made me aware of current issues, be informed of budget related changes, and have better understanding of the vision moving forward. Tahoma students deserve the opportunity to achieve their highest academic success without sacrificing their social/emotional well-being. They should feel safe to go to school being their authentic self without ridicule and be mentored by teachers and staff who equally feel valued in their work. Building strong trusting relationships ensures the success of our district and community.

As District 5 School Board Director I vow to advocate for every student, teacher, and family, ensure fiscal responsibility to our community-members, be present in my duties, and to always listen with an open mind. I am proudly endorsed by the 5th LD Democrats, King County Democrats, and The National Women’s Political Caucus.
