GENERAL 2025
Issaquah School District No. 411
Director District No. 4
This campaign is committed to making students workforce-ready by prioritizing practical learning and social-emotional development from Pre-K through 12th grade. We believe education must equip students not only with academic knowledge but also with the skills to thrive in real-world environments. In addition, we recognize the urgent need for disaster planning in schools, especially where education intersects with the growing threat of gun violence—every child deserves a safe place to learn. Lastly, protecting equitable education starts with early learning. By investing in strong foundations for all children, we can close opportunity gaps and build a brighter, more inclusive future.

As an Issaquah School District parent and current School Board Director, I am dedicated to ensuring Exceptional Educational Experiences for All Students. I know that public education is the cornerstone of a strong and vibrant community and that every student deserves access to high-quality learning that prepares them for lifelong success.
Since joining the School Board in 2019, I have worked to advance policies that promote student achievement, school safety, responsible budgeting, and effective and inclusive learning environments. I’ve analyzed student data and district programs to identify strengths and areas for growth, and I meet regularly with students, families, teachers, staff, and community members.
With 18 years of mission-driven board service and a professional background in finance, operations, and leadership, I bring the experience and dedication needed to navigate challenges and drive continuous improvement.
I am proud to have these endorsements: 5th and 41st Legislative District Democrats, King County Democrats, Issaquah Education Association, and National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington. I am committed to listening to all perspectives and making thoughtful decisions that support every student. It would be an honor to continue serving as your Director for District 4. I respectfully ask for your vote.
