I’m Julianne DeShayes, and it’s been a privilege to serve on the Enumclaw School Board. As a parent and longtime community member, I care deeply about the role our schools play in shaping the lives of students and families in our district.
In my time on the board, I’ve prioritized truly listening to a wide range of voices, ideas, and concerns. I believe thoughtful decisions come from open dialogue and a willingness to consider different perspectives. I welcome feedback and view collaboration as essential to strong public education. If reelected, I’ll continue working to support safe, welcoming schools where every student belongs; promote academic growth and meaningful pathways to success; build strong, respectful partnerships between families, educators, and the district; and ensure responsible, transparent use of resources.
Enumclaw’s schools are at the heart of our community. I would be honored to earn your vote and keep serving.
As a wife, mother, teacher, and 17-year Enumclaw resident, I’m passionate about ensuring every child in our community receives a high-quality education.
With classroom and leadership experience, I’m ready to serve on the school board with transparency and courage—especially when it comes to financial decisions, school safety, and academic priorities. I’ve developed and strengthened educational systems, boosting teacher performance, academic achievement, community engagement, and collaboration across multiple schools, while guiding countless students past barriers to achieve their potential. Early intervention, skill-building, and extracurriculars are key to shaping well-rounded citizens. Using evidence-based approaches, I’ll boost student achievement and ensure school accountability.
I’ll collaborate with families and educators—our most vital teammates—because parents are a child’s first teacher, and educators deserve support to focus on essential skills. As an engaged, approachable board member, I’ll be active in schools, open to listening, and eager to share ideas. Reach me anytime by phone or email.
