GENERAL 2025
City of Woodinville
Council Position No. 1
As your elected Councilmember, I've prioritized strategic planning and delivering the overdue infrastructure Woodinville needs. Council majority secured $23 million in grants to rebuild the trestle, add new roads and roundabouts, expand sidewalks, add trails, fix bridges, and proactively address traffic congestion to support state-mandated growth.
We delivered our first Climate Action Plan, enacted tenant protections, and the first workforce affordable housing in decades. We expanded community safety by funding CORE Connect crisis responders, adding mental health co‑responders, and expanding restorative justice via Community Court. Under our leadership, Woodinville has maintained a balanced budget, without raising city taxes, by securing regional, state, and federal investments.
I’ll continue to deliver our strategic plans to improve roads, trails, parks, and sidewalks, supporting Woodinville businesses, and protecting neighborhoods. With 25+ years of leadership and deep community roots, I’m endorsed by King County Democrats, Mayor Millman, Deputy Mayor Randolph, and 25+ more at Michelle4Woodinville.com.
I am a father, husband, and veteran who is standing up for the future of our city. Woodinville is changing under a government that prioritizes optics, regional agendas, and outside interests over residents.
My priorities are Stronger Community, More Accountability, and Less Traffic. I’ll preserve Woodinville’s character by requiring integrated affordability, protecting small businesses, promoting open spaces, and stopping politically driven plans for segregated housing. I’ll restore fiscal responsibility with a balanced budget, a strengthened ethics code, and smarter spending that prioritizes neighborhood parks and safety over wasteful developer handouts. I’ll push for expanded transit and ensure that SR-202 improvements serve current residents, not induced demand from new high-rise development.
Endorsed by Former Mayors Gary Harris, Elaine Cook, and Chuck Price who are counting on me to restore balance, democratic participation, and the highest standards of conduct to our city government.
