GENERAL 2025
City of Tukwila
Council Position No. 7
I am a first-generation Vietnamese American who values hard work, opportunity, and community. My parents immigrated to the U.S. in 1990 to build a better future, and their resilience inspires my dedication to serve Tukwila with that same determination.
My commitment to Tukwila’s past, present, and future is reflected in my service as a Planning Commissioner and active member of the Tukwila Historical Society. My priorities include strengthening public safety, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and improving housing affordability. I also support enhanced transportation options, businesses and economic growth, and maintaining responsible city budgets.
Tukwila deserves leadership that listens, engages, and reflects our city’s diverse families. I will be accessible, responsive, and committed to building a community where every voice is heard and every person feels valued. I’d be honored to represent you. Endorsements Include: by Tukwila Mayor Tom McLeod, County Councilmember Desean Quinn, and former City Councilmember Kathy Hougardy.

I am vested in the health, prosperity, and continued growth of our community.
As your advocate, my focus includes prioritizing increased affordable housing options through the city’s middle-housing initiative, updating infrastructure, enhancing parks and health and wellness options, increasing business and job opportunities, expanding transit availability, and public safety.
With over 20 years in city government and change management, I bring experience and leadership focused on thoughtful, balanced decision-making. I believe in inclusive, whole-community solutions—balancing needs with optimized budgets and driving advancements for the betterment of our entire city. I'm committed to making our city a place where all feel safe, connected, represented, and proud to live, work, and thrive here—together. I'm honored by your vote.
