Education: University of Washington: BS Computer Science, BS Physics, BA Mathematics (2026); LWSD Alumni
Occupation: Redmond Human Services Commission; Software Engineer at AI Startup; Ex-Amazon
Statement:

I’m running to bring fresh ideas, new leadership and a technical perspective to council. I’m a graduate of Redmond’s public schools, a member of our city’s Human Services Commission, and an engineer at a veteran-owned small business. I’m proud to be endorsed by every sitting state legislator representing Redmond.

On council, I’ll prioritize safety, affordability and inclusivity. Thousands lost power during last November’s bomb cyclone — we must invest in sustainable and resilient infrastructure. I’ll work to ensure seniors and families aren’t priced out of their homes, prioritize quality parks and accessible transit, and protect Redmond’s beautiful environment. Let’s build a Redmond that’s prepared for the future while preserving what makes our community special!

Endorsed: Redmond Firefighters; Congresswoman Suzan DelBene; Eastside Business Alliance; Redmond Mayor Birney and City Council President Kritzer; Senators Slatter and Dhingra; Representatives Walen, Springer, Goodman, Salahuddin; County Councilmember Perry; King County Democrats; 45th, 48th LD Democrats.

Statement:

Before you vote, ask yourself this important question. Does this candidate have the courage to stand up for what is right, even when it’s not comfortable or convenient? I have prioritized the wider community needs over special interests and narrow political party agendas. Transparency, especially when admitting mistakes, is a central principle of good governance and keeping public trust.

I have worked to make sure our taxpayer investments in transportation choices, public safety, affordable housing, environment protection, and increased parks are made carefully and always made with public scrutiny.

My guiding principle is to represent you. The best elected leaders know their job is to encourage all people to speak up, respect differences of opinion, and champion the ideas that make our lives better. City Council requires serious commitment, time, knowledge and empathy. My deep experience is needed for the challenging times ahead and I take this job seriously.
