Thank you for trusting me as your councilmember and mayor. I don’t have an opponent on the ballot, but you have my promise to ensure an uncontroversial and functioning government doing the everyday business of making our city a great place to live and visit.

Much has changed in Washington since I first joined government. I want you to feel okay believing that accountability is necessary when our laws are broken. For the things making our neighborhoods less safe, it’s okay to say, “This isn’t normal!”, and require that your government solve it.

Our care for those who are hurting is only care when it helps, and our inclusion lacks meaning for those trapped outside society by government’s permission. Your ballot today is important. Many elected leaders statewide are partnering to solve our biggest problems, with compassion and accountability co-existing. I respectfully ask for your vote to help this grow.
