Statement:

As a 20-year resident, former Newcastle Councilmember, career technology professional, and proud father, I’m committed to protecting what makes our city special. I’m running for City Council to keep Newcastle safe, fiscally strong, and welcoming to all. Growing up in a small town, I value community and connection. I chose Newcastle to raise my family because of its safety, diversity, and livability.

My priorities are clear: strengthen public safety, ensure economic viability, and build a welcoming community for everyone. I will promote smart budgeting, support first responders, and advocate for inclusive policies that reflect our shared values. I’m stepping up again to do the hard work this position requires. Together, we can build a stronger Newcastle. I’d be honored to earn your vote.

I’m proud to be endorsed by KingCounty and 41st District Democrats, State Senator Wellman, State Representatives Thai and Zahn, and Newcastle Councilmembers Sherlock, Charbonneau, and Burford.

Statement:

I want to be your choice for Newcastle City Council... to save Newcastle! Newcastle is a small, friendly community with high quality of life. Trails all around. Safe traffic. Quiet neighborhoods. But we are at a crossroads. Recent legislation is urging growth with few restrictions. That means multiplexes, zero lot lines, no parking and more dangerous, crowded streets.

I support carefully managed growth to keep Newcastle, Newcastle. I support managed economic growth to foster quality local businesses to build revenue while reducing taxes. With 30+ years marketing to local television audiences, I know how to focus on what’s most important to our community. With my experience helping people buy and sell homes, I know what people value most in our community.

I’ll lead by listening to you and responding to what you hold most dear. I humbly ask for your vote to save Newcastle for today and for future generations.
