"We will focus on creating a culture where everyone feels a sense of belonging." This is our city's first core value and being on the team that authored it during my first term is one of the things for which I am most proud. To make good on that promise, I work daily toward fostering a healthy, well-rounded community and have served on local and regional committees on Climate, Belonging, Housing, Transportation, Communications, Finance, Public Safety, and have prioritized the creation of new events so that more of our residents can experience a greater sense of home.

Additionally, I was able to earn a Certificate of Municipal Leadership and, because it can't all be serious, I'm a proud co-creator of our City's ambassador Gnorm the Gnome!

I look forward to the continued honor of serving Maple Valley as we guide our beautiful, growing little city into the next four years!
