Statement:

Serving as your councilmember is an honor. I bring a proven track record of delivering practical, data-driven, budget-conscious, community-focused solutions that keep Kirkland safe, livable, and thriving. Results include safer walk/bike routes on Juanita Drive and 124th Avenue, 28 acres of new parks, 500+ affordable homes in Totem Lake, top-tier emergency response times, and increased human services.

My priorities: expand housing options while respecting neighborhood character, enhance parks and open spaces, improve transportation for all users while fixing key bottlenecks, invest in fire and police, and strengthen Kirkland’s economy. For 20+ years, I’ve served Kirkland through the Planning and Transportation Commissions, State Transportation Improvement Board, Finn Hill Neighborhood Alliance, Kirkland Alliance of Neighborhoods, coaching Little League, and LWSD’s facilities taskforce. I’ll keep listening to residents and building a stronger, more vibrant Kirkland for everyone.

Endorsements: Eastside mayors, state legislators, LWSD leaders, labor unions, firefighters, and community leaders. See jonpascal.com.

Statement:

With your vote, I’ll tackle Kirkland’s biggest challenges head-on. Housing affordability, transportation, and climate change require practical, forward-looking solutions that reflect our values, enhance our quality of life, and leave a better Kirkland for our children. I’ll protect parks and open space while addressing the rising cost of living so small businesses, seniors, families, working people, and students can thrive. I’ll continue building local and regional partnerships that deliver results.

Amidst federal uncertainty, Kirkland needs principled, strategic leadership that’s willing to keep Kirkland safe and welcoming with abundant opportunities for everyone. I love Kirkland and believe our best days are ahead. I’d be honored to have your support. Let’s move forward!
