Statement:

As a mom, attorney, and proud Kirkland neighbor, I’m running to bring fresh ideas and a practical, data-driven voice to City Council. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I’m now raising my twins here and want Kirkland to remain a place where everyone can thrive.  That means creating more affordable housing, expanding parks, reducing traffic, making transportation convenient, supporting small businesses, ensuring public safety, and practicing fiscal responsibility. Achieving these goals requires navigating complex issues and ensuring all voices are heard.

I have worked on high-judgment issues, solving complex, financially significant problems by interpreting laws, gathering facts, and making thoughtful, common-sense decisions. I’ll bring this same data-driven leadership to Kirkland. I’d be honored to earn your vote.

Endorsements: King County Democrats; all State Senators covering Kirkland; Kirkland Mayor Curtis; Kirkland Councilmembers Arnold, Sweet, Falcone, Black; Congresswoman DelBene; Sierra Club; Alliance for Gun Responsibility; Mayors of Bellevue, Redmond; and more.

Statement:

As a longtime Kirkland resident, I’ve seen our city grow—but more recently, change has felt disconnected from the people who live and work here. I’m running for City Council to bring the voice of residents and business owners back to City Hall.  Rising taxes and spending are displacing longtime residents and burdening Kirkland businesses, with little return in public benefits. It’s time for a course correction that puts our community first.

I have experience managing state budgets, building high-performing teams, and tackling complex problems under tight deadlines. I will bring data-driven, outcome-focused leadership to City Council—making decisions rooted in proven results, not political trends.I will advocate for policies supporting small businesses, invest responsibly, and preserve the distinct character of our neighborhoods while planning thoughtfully for the future.

Endorsed by; Eastside Business Alliance, Washington Multifamily Housing Association, Safe Eastside and by many neighbors like you. I hope to earn your vote.
