Education: Bachelor of Arts, Speech Communication; Business Administration Minor, San Diego State University
Occupation: Past Vice President of Sales, Samsung Electronics
Statement:

I’m running for City Council to bring practical leadership, fiscal discipline, and your voice back to City Hall. Unlike our current representation, I believe in listening to residents and reflecting the priorities of the people who live here. With executive experience managing billion-dollar budgets, I’ll invest wisely in what matters most: public safety, thriving local businesses, and protecting Kirkland’s parks, trees, and open spaces.

Growth in Kirkland must reflect our community’s needs, not a Seattle political agenda. Whether it’s housing options for all stages of life or investments in transit solutions, development must fit the scale and character of our neighborhoods and align with infrastructure capacity. I’ll work to strengthen essential services across the city. Kirkland deserves leadership that listens first, acts with transparency, and delivers results.

Endorsements: Kirkland Firefighters; Former Deputy Mayor Santos Contreras; Chuck Pilcher, Evergreen Health Board; Cassandra Sage, Former Lake Washington School Board Director, and more!

Statement:

It’s my honor to serve you and our beautiful, thriving city. I’ve revitalized Totem Lake and invested in new and expanded parks, school walk routes, the Cross Kirkland Corridor, and Green Loop. I’ve strengthened tree protections and championed sustainability policies. I’ve improved public safety, added mental health professionals to respond to those in crisis, kept Police/Fire fully staffed, and maintained Kirkland’s balanced budget and AAA credit rating.

I have a 20+year track record as an effective leader who listens, does his homework, incorporates feedback, and develops pragmatic solutions.

Priorities: Apply lessons from Totem Lake successes to future sustainable growth. Create more affordable housing. Build transportation improvements plus transit that work for Kirkland. Ensure our city is an affordable, safe, welcoming, sustainable, and vibrant community. Selected Endorsements:  Congresswoman DelBene, State Legislators Slatter, Dhingra, Springer, Goodman, Salahuddin; County Councilmembers Balducci, Dembowski;  Affordable Housing Council, Sierra Club. I ask for your vote.
