It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the City of Kent as Municipal Court Judge over the last seven years.  After nearly 20 years in private practice as a trial lawyer, and two years as a pro tem judge in King County District Court, I was appointed to the position of Court Commissioner in the City of Kent in 2018.  I then assumed the role of sitting judge in January 2019 and took over as presiding judge later that same year.  I was then reelected for a second term in 2021.  

I strive to have a positive impact in this community every day I take the bench.  I work hard to ensure that all individuals coming before the Court are treated with dignity and respect.  I founded this Court's community court program, which places emphasis on assisting individuals dealing with challenges related to poverty, mental health, and severe addiction.  I will continue to work hard for this City and look forward to serving Kent in the years to come.   I respectfully ask for your vote.
