Statement:

I am grateful and honored to have won the August Primary. Thank you Kenmore for your trust and support!

My service to our community runs deep. As your Planning Commissioner, I helped steer our first Economic Development and Climate Action Elements. As a community leader, I’ve organized hundreds of volunteers to restore our beautiful parks. And as your Councilmember, together we will create a welcoming, affordable community; prioritize salmon recovery and climate action; ensure wise stewardship of our financial and natural resources; and see our shared humanity as we build a just, equitable future where everybody thrives. I will continue to work hard, listening, leading, and co-creating a vibrant Kenmore with you. I would be honored to serve. I humbly ask for your vote.

Endorsements: King County Democrats; Shoreline Firefighters Local 1760; Fuse Washington Progressive Voters Guide; State Representative Duerr; Kenmore Councilmembers Sasson, Culver, Srebnik, Loutsis; Fire Commissioner Adman; more!

Occupation: Public Defender; Attorney 25 years; real estate, municipal law.
Statement:

I am a proud Democrat and environmentalist who's served two terms on your City Council. I listen and stand up for you. Accomplishments: approved 121 new affordable multifamily units, women's shelter; encampment rules; pushed financial sustainability into Kenmore's top goals, Pride Proclamation, DEI Initiative, Climate Action, new sidewalks, bike lanes and parks. I listened to you on the Plymouth vote and fought the state bill that tried to silence your voice.

I grew up in Kenmore and raised my family here. I will protect our environment, create community spaces, and keep advocating for a public pool. As a public defender, serving our most vulnerable inspires me to ensure Kenmore grows smart and grows with heart. I humbly ask for your vote.

Endorsements: Kenmore Deputy Mayor O'Cain, Councilmember Loutsis, Former Mayor Baker, STEP Committee Member Caitlin Sullivan, King County Councilmembers Girmay Zahilay and Rod Dembowski, Democratic State Senator Valdez, Representative Pollet.
