Occupation: Current Guest Teacher, FW School District; former City Councilmember (2013-2021)
Statement:

Like so many residents in Federal Way, my immigrant journey is rooted in resilience and service. Adopted as an orphan from Bulgaria at eight years old, I was raised in Federal Way and graduated from Decatur High School. After graduating college, I served our community as an AmeriCorps member, Parks Commissioner, and City Councilmember from 2013–2021.

On the Council, I’ve added police officers, created jobs, secured rental assistance, and implemented budget transparency. As your next Councilmember, I’ll strengthen public safety, champion local hiring policies, invest in youth programs, enhance senior services, and ensure greater government transparency. With Sound Transit train coming in, I see a future full of opportunity—and I'm ready to fight for a Federal Way where everyone has a chance to thrive.

I'm proudly endorsed by your FW Police Officers, Firefighters, Congressman Adam Smith, Rep. Kristine Reeves, Mayor Ferrell, and many more. I hope to earn your vote.

Statement:

I’m an experienced Operations Manager running for office to build a stronger, more connected Federal Way through real opportunity. Together we can take action to deliver meaningful results for our community.

My biggest priority is creating pathways to good paying jobs, particularly in tech and skilled trades to strengthen families and our community. This will involve finding ways to attract new industries and investing in our residents by preparing our children for the careers of the future and offering retraining for adults ready for new opportunities. By working together we can create an economy that benefits everyone, reduces crime, and ensures every resident can thrive.

With your support, I am committed to bringing lasting and inclusive growth to Federal Way, making it a place where we all have the opportunities we need to succeed.
