Statement:

Duvall is a city with character, heart, and natural beauty. It is more than where I live, it’s where I’ve chosen to raise my family. As growth accelerates, I’m running for City Council to ensure that Duvall thrives and builds diverse opportunities for all residents while also being mindful of its green spaces.

As a community member, I feel the need for more in-town activities for children, teens, seniors, and families. We often travel to neighboring cities for anything other than restaurants. I’d like to champion for additional local activities and businesses guided by public input.

Being an elementary school teacher for over twenty years, I am an effective problem-solver, a solid listener, and a flexible thinker. I would use these skills to help keep Duvall the special place that it is. I would be honored to earn your trust and your vote.

Statement:

Neighbors we had never, or barely, met held my family when we faced unimaginable loss. That loving support, from strangers, reinforced the power of community and connectedness simply for the sake of being good. That’s small-town living at its best, and that experience deepened my commitment to serve.

On Council, I focus on facts over ideology — grounding decisions in data, transparency, and what serves Duvall best. You can love or hate government, but it’s here, and I’m working to make it function better for everyone.

With financial challenges ahead, we need steady, thoughtful leadership to protect what makes Duvall special: our small-town feel, natural spaces, creative events, and safe, connected infrastructure. My background in financial, operational, and strategic consulting for businesses and nonprofits lends the right skill set. I’m honored to be endorsed by leaders at the state, county, and local levels. Learn more or reach out at adamolen.com.
