Statement:

As Mayor, I will focus on traffic relief to reduce gridlock and work effectively with agencies and the county for a better plan while addressing safety issues. I will work toward a sustainable financial future with fiscal stability and look to enhance our commercial base by attracting new businesses to keep property taxes low. I will work towards clean, welcoming and safe public spaces with police visibility in our neighborhoods.

I previously served the city for 30 years as a reserve police officer and project manager, secured funding for critical projects plus managed Commissions and Park user groups. I understand what it means to bring strong people to the table to solve difficult problems.

My husband Matt and I have lived in Duvall for 40 years, raised our children and are blessed with four grandchildren. I have been a retail gift shop business owner on main street for 37 years.

Statement:

Duvall is at a turning point. As a parent, City Councilmember, and longtime resident, I’m running for mayor to lead with clarity, courage, and a deep commitment to the people who call this community home. We need leadership that’s proactive as we navigate growth, infrastructure needs, and rising costs.

I’ve advocated to improve public safety, support small businesses, and invest in infrastructure that meets the needs of a growing city. I bring people together, listen carefully, and take action- balancing budgets, building regional partnerships, and ensuring your voice is heard.

This election is about protecting the character of our town while preparing for what’s next. I will work relentlessly to ensure Duvall remains a safe, vibrant, welcoming place for all. I’m proud to be endorsed by Teamsters Local Union #763 and believe in respectful partnerships with city staff. I’m ready to serve and I’d be honored to earn your vote.
