As a lifelong resident of the South Seattle area and proud mother of two daughters, I am running for City Council here in Des Moines. As the owner of local flower shop Iris & Peony, I run a front-facing small business where I am accessible to everyone and have the opportunity to listen to people's concerns about our city. Since moving my business to Des Moines, I have organized many events and provided advocacy for businesses in this community, and I am proud to have received the Washington Retailer Association's endorsement.

Being on City Council will give me the opportunity to advocate for small businesses, assist with economic development, and strengthen public safety. Our city has incredibile potential to fulfill and I would be honored to earn your vote.
