GENERAL 2025
City of Clyde Hill
Council Position No. 1
Over the past two years in office, I have learned a lot about what it means to be an elected official. Enacting local laws, approving the city budget and establishing city policies are all important parts of the job, but the most important task is being able to respectfully listen to and learn from different constituents.
For the next four years, my priorities include continuing support for our outstanding Police Department, responding to state mandated housing code changes while preserving our community, increasing the transparency of city operations and crafting a city budget ensuring the viability of our city. The next few months are a golden opportunity for the City Council to work together with the Mayor on a shared vision.
Endorsements : Bellevue City Councilmember Jared Nieuwenhuis, Yarrow Point Mayor Katy Harris, CH Civil Service Commission Chair Brian Ouellette, CH Planning Commission Chair Mark Kroese
A lifelong Clyde Hill resident, proud to call this city home. My brothers and I grew up at the bottom of the hill, and my husband Greg and I raised our family at the top—at the same address for 40 years. I’m running for City Council to offer a fresh perspective and a community connection.
With a career in Human Resources and a commitment to people, I value inclusion, transparency, and respectful dialogue. I believe strong communities are built through shared values, vision, and open communication.
My priorities include public safety, preserving our natural beauty, supporting thoughtful budgeting, and maintaining our city’s character. I hold a deep sense of place here; three generations of UW Husky grads I still enjoy my music major and continue to record and perform. I’d be honored to serve and represent you—my neighbors, fellow families, and the future of Clyde Hill lynadams.com lyn@lynadams.com
