GENERAL 2025
City of Carnation
Council Position No. 4
I’m running for City Council to protect what makes Carnation special—our natural beauty, thriving local arts and music, and the inclusive and neighborly spirit that defines us.
With over a decade of experience in operations and incident management, I’ll bring the skills to guide sustainable, intentional growth and prepare for challenges like the Tolt Dam threat. We need clear emergency planning and strong coordination to ensure that everyone can be safe.
Carnation is growing, but without the right investment in roads, schools, and local business, we risk losing the charm and livability that make our town unique. I’ll advocate for responsible development, support for local businesses, and policies that preserve our rural identity, while using my technical background to ensure a safe, well-planned future. I’m proud to say that my endorsements for this position include Morgan Henley and Councilmember Jessica Merizan. Together, we can take Carnation to the Max.
From attending Riverview School District to representing Carnation as an Empower Youth Network Boardmember, I am a product of what Carnation has to offer. As a lifelong Carnation resident, public servant, and advocate, I’ve spent years bringing people together to tackle real challenges and supporting youth needs.
On Council, I’ll fight for mindful development that preserves our rural charm, while investing in both dam evacuation and traffic safety, reliable utilities, and ensuring seniors, workers, and young families have access to affordable housing. Together, we can build a future where Carnation continues to be a place people are proud to call home, and where they can build a life. I would be honored to earn your vote.
Endorsements: County Councilmembers Perry, Balducci, Zahilay; Carnation Mayor Hawkins, Riverview School Board Directors Edwards, Oviatt; State Senators Dhingra, Valdez; State Representatives Callan, Hall, Salahuddin; Councilmember Nelson; Community Leaders Tara Bergman, Laura Smith, +more!
