Statement:

Bothell has been changing quickly, and many neighbors have shared that they feel left out of the conversation. I’m running for City Council to bring compassionate, people-first leadership that reflects our shared values and protects the small-town charm that makes Bothell feel like home. Growth should be thoughtful, guided by residents, rooted in what matters most: safety, well-being, community, and quality of life.

As a public-service nurse, a mother, and your neighbor, I care, solve problems, and advocate for vulnerable populations every day. I’ll bring these skills, along with my dedication and common sense, as I work to preserve our tree canopy, support parks and trails for walking and riding, and improve safety for residents of all ages and abilities.

Most of all, I believe in listening. Together, we can build a healthier, more connected, and safer Bothell. Vote for me to be your voice. Endorsed by council-member Jeanne Zornes.

Statement:

In 2021, I set a bold vision for Bothell’s future and I brought clarity and purpose to the biggest issues facing the city. By centering equity and bringing community voices into the public process, I helped ensure a balanced budget for the city, a fully staffed police department and a fully built-out crisis continuum of care. I also championed economic opportunity, climate resilience and housing affordability.

I'm running for re-election so that Bothell continues to be a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable community. With your vote, I will continue working to improve Bothell’s transportation connections to the rest of our region, increase housing options for working class Bothellites, preserve park land at Shelton View Forest, and reclaim former Wayne Golf Course for future generations.

Endorsements: King and Snohomish County Democrats, Snohomish County Indivisible, labor unions, Representatives Duerr and Kloba, Senator Stanford, Mayor Thompson, and Deputy Mayor Al-Kabra. Learn more at votejenne.com.
