GENERAL 2025
City of Bellevue
Council Position No. 6
Lynne Robinson

BELLEVUE, WA 98005
As Mayor and on the City Council, I’m dedicated to making Bellevue a thriving, innovative, and inclusive city. I would be honored to continue serving you, building on the progress we have made to foster economic growth, create affordable housing, invest in our parks, and embrace the diversity of our city. I’m committed to a future where everyone has access to opportunities, amenities, and a high quality of life.
Key accomplishments that motivate my service include: leading Bellevue’s economic growth– more than 4000 new jobs– through partnerships with regional employers and advocating for small businesses; more affordable homes in our city, and championing regional housing solutions and emergency shelters; expanding parks, trails, and green spaces and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
I’ve overseen transportation investments, including safe routes to school and light rail, and prioritized public safety with initiatives like the CCAT crisis response unit. With your vote, I’ll build on this record with focused and thoughtful leadership.
Endorsements include Governor Bob Ferguson; KC Councilmembers Claudia Balducci, Reagan Dunn; all Bellevue State Representatives and Senators; 4 Bellevue Councilmembers; Mayors of every major regional city; Sierra Club, Seattle Times, KC Federation of Democratic Women; and many more.

As Bellevue grows, new residents should experience the same delight to live here that we’ve had. Bellevue needs additional housing that’s excellent for families, where we’ll nurture kids in a safe environment, and affordable housing for seniors and young adults. I want to ensure that the city we are building now will make us proud for the next 50 years.
I’ve advocated for incentives to build units sized for families, and I’ve argued for a higher standard for sound-proofing apartment sleeping areas. As I cycle and walk with my kids, I think about how our streetscape should make everyone feel safe and comfortable. I also understand the importance of dependable car travel and public safety, including on transit.
I will protect our third spaces, where we make social connections; housing and offices alone aren’t enough to make a city alive. I will work on Bellevue’s processes to deliver consistent, cost-effective results.
I write regularly for my website and newsletter to inform residents about high impact city decisions. They should have confidence that the infrastructure we need for growth is thoughtfully planned and implemented professionally. People have high expectations when they come to Bellevue, and I want us to exceed them.
