Statement:

Bellevue is facing federal challenges that impact our economy and quality of life. We deserve better than a Councilmember who donates tens of thousands to Donald Trump and violates ethics rules. We need new, accountable leadership focused on serving Bellevue families and small businesses.

I am the daughter of refugees, a tech-policy professional, and community leader running to bring fresh ideas and responsible leadership to our Council.

With your vote, I’ll focus on improving affordability to ensure essential workers can live where they work, and young families can call Bellevue home. I’ll invest in public safety, including behavioral health and emergency preparedness. I’ll work to reduce congestion, expand transit, and make our streets safer. I’ll champion strong public schools, workforce training, and career pathways that prepare youth for future jobs. I’ll support our parks, arts, and quality of life. To make city government more responsive, I’ll break down silos and streamline processes to boost efficiency.

I’m the only candidate in this race endorsed by 41st, 48th & King County Democrats; Mayor Lynne Robinson; Congresswoman DelBene; All Bellevue Representatives and Senators; Insurance Commissioner Patty Kuderer; former Councilmember John Stokes; small businesses and labor unions; Alliance for Gun Responsibility; and more!

Statement:

You have consistently elected me to be your voice on the Council to support public safety, lower taxes, cut wasteful spending, and create a healthy economy. As inflation continues to rise, I remain committed to responsible fiscal policies in keeping taxes low while ensuring our city invests wisely in public safety, transportation, and essential community services without sacrificing quality of life. Bellevue thrives because of our prudent financial decisions, a healthy business environment, and dedication to maintaining a high quality of life for all residents.

As your trusted representative, I am accessible, accountable, and transparent. By listening and working with you, I will tackle new opportunities and challenges with collaborative partnerships and innovative solutions.

Beyond fiscal stewardship, I’ve strengthened our community through inclusion and opportunity. I initiated Bellevue’s Cross-Culture Center project, supporting efforts to celebrate and connect our city’s diversity. As the founder of the Pathway Foundation and its Youth Internship Program, I’ve championed education and mentorship to help empower the next generation of civic leaders.

Bellevue has a bright future. I appreciate your confidence and support for my re-election. I ask for your vote and your continued trust to represent you.
