In reading this statement, I truly appreciate your time and effort in making your voting decisions; I hope that I will earn your vote.

My background includes over 44 years in the fire service, beginning as a volunteer in 1981 and becoming a full-time firefighter in 1985. 35 years of my career were with the Bellevue Fire Department, where I advanced through the ranks and retired as the Deputy Chief of Operations in September 2023.

Earlier this year I accepted an invitation to fill a Commissioners Board vacancy and now I am seeking to extend my service to the community through the election process. My experience in fire service will complement that of your other Fire Commissioners who contribute their own critical expertise. I will strive to be approachable, open-minded and fiscally responsible while seeking the highest service level for you and your family.  Thank you for your consideration.
