Occupation: Burien City Council Member, Small Business Consultant, Board Member, Entrepreneur
Statement:

My extensive experience, including serving on Planning Commission and Economic Development Partnership, has served Burien well during my first term. I continue to be a strong advocate for working families, small businesses and workers.

Common sense, compassionate representation has been slim on the Council and it has hampered our effectiveness. My immigrant background and lived experience reminds me that strong coalitions built to uplift the most marginalized are worth fighting for. I will continue to listen to neighbors and amplify their voices in creating a resilient city where all of our families, no matter how they identify or where they were born, can thrive.

My focus will be on keeping Burien affordable and families and workers at the center of city policies. Early endorsements include: King County Democrats, MLK Labor, 33rd LD Democrats, KC CM Girmay Zahilay, Working Families Party, Transit Riders Union, Women of Color in Politics, UFCW 3000.

Occupation: Director of Marketing for Seattle Orcas
Statement:

As a working mom who raised my kids in South King County, I understand the real pressures Burien families face—rising costs and the need for safe, welcoming neighborhoods. As Vice Chair of Burien’s Planning Commission, I’ve helped shape a vision that addresses housing affordability, invests equitably across neighborhoods, and promotes sustainable growth. With a professional background as a marketing leader, I bring experience building strong communities and uniting people around common goals.

I’m running for City Council to move beyond division and deliver real results. I’ll champion affordable housing and new paths to ownership, support economic growth by attracting jobs and backing small businesses, and work to keep Burien safe, walkable, and vibrant. I’ll also prioritize our parks, services, and co-responder mental health programs.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m committed to building a thriving, inclusive Burien for everyone. I would be honored to earn your vote.

Education: Certificate Degree of Business and Marketing, Orange Coast College
Occupation: Construction Manager and Laborer
Statement:

Our city must become more affordable and safer for residents. Many people, especially seniors on fixed incomes and working families, are being forced out due to rising costs. I am seeking election to increase affordability and improve public safety.

As a small construction business owner, I understand the need for practical, cost-effective solutions. I’ll support responsible development that creates jobs, attracts new amenities, and a growing economy that will bring more revenue to our city and eliminate the need for higher taxes.

Our city needs leadership focused on real world challenges. I’m a local dad and labor worker, and am seeking to better my city, not become a politician. I’m committed to protecting public safety, supporting working families, and building a future where everyone can thrive. I promise to serve Burien with integrity and purpose. I’d be honored to earn your vote.
