The Des Moines area is a great place to live. I moved here from the city of Seattle over twenty years ago to raise my family, and I found a wonderful community. I value an economy that encourages sustainable growth and development which, in turn, requires sound planning and continual investment in our utility infrastructure. As a water commissioner, I will strive to ensure that the water needs of our residents and businesses remain as plentiful, safe, and inexpensive as possible while preparing for the current upgrades and the future needs of our growing community.  I am committed to Water District 54’s success and confident that, with my fellow Commissioners and our dedicated district staff, we can help ensure that our water is managed responsibly and efficiently.  I thank you for your support and will work to assure the resilience of our water system.
