As a resident of Bothell for twenty-eight years, I have had the opportunity to serve as an EvergreenHealth Community Advisor for eighteen years and the past seven years on the EvergreenHealth Board of Commissioners (King County Public Hospital District #2). I have gained a greater understanding and appreciation of the importance of quality healthcare for our community.

EvergreenHealth has grown from a small community hospital to a regional medical center providing outstanding services to our residents. EvergreenHealth is rated one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals (top 1%). This is seen throughout the continuum of patient care, services such as women’s health, labor and birth, cancer care, heart care, stroke, orthopedics, pulmonary care, hospice, patient education and many more. I am focused on seeing EvergreenHealth provide a complete range of nationally recognized healthcare services for you, your family, friends, and neighbors within the EvergreenHealth community.

As a member of the board, I chair the EvergreenHealth Board of Commissioners, the Strategic Planning and Construction board committee, the Digital Health and Consumer Innovation board committee, am a member of the Board Governance committee, and serve on the Board of Directors for the Eastside Health Alliance.

As your hospital commissioner, I will continue to ensure that EvergreenHealth provides safe, high quality patient care, innovative solutions, cost-effective service, press for the continued financial health of the hospital, and the effective, efficient use of our public tax dollars. I am committed to improving communication within our community and will continue to be out in the community engaging with our residents.
