Statement:

Helping to support our community’s heroes as they keep our cities’ safe is one of the proudest accomplishments of my life. I would be deeply honored and thankful to continue serving you in this capacity. The East Pierce Fire and Rescue is a highly qualified group that truly defines “team.”  These professionals risk their lives daily and their compassionate, speed and agility are all hallmarks, critical to serving our community’s diverse needs. As your Commissioner, I will continue to work diligently to ensure our community’s safety and your confidence.  We face many difficult budget decisions and I will continue to bring research, empathy and an open mind to each ​equipment and facility discussion. I make each budget and management decision knowing this region’s property and health are on the line. I will continue to ensure we meet the mission and goals of this district while empowering and resourcing the needs of our dedicated East Pierce Fire and Rescue Professionals. My life of professional service working in safety and health management continues to drive my passion to serve you and our community. Most importantly, I value your thoughts and comments and will always be open to your concerns and new ideas.
