Shoreline is an amazing place to live and I’ve been honored to serve on the Council for the last eight years. I’m proud of the work we’ve done bringing new sidewalks to Shoreline, assigning mental health professionals to work with police on behavioral health emergencies, working with partners to open a homeless shelter, concentrating development near light rail, and mandating affordable housing in all new large apartment buildings. I’m also proud of the fact that we’ve continued to provide high-quality services like police, utilities, and road maintenance while still keeping taxes fair and reasonable.

 I’m looking forward to continuing to work with everyone in Shoreline to preserve our urban forest, encourage more affordable housing, and move the unhoused population into housing without allowing unsanctioned encampments. I’m also looking forward to working with our community to make real our promise to be an anti-racist city.
