Education: B.A., University of Washington
Occupation: Commercial Real Estate Professional; Clyde Hill Planning Commissioner
Statement:

Clyde Hill is special to me. I attended school here and my wife Angelina and I chose to raise our three children here. Clyde Hill is home. I want to protect it and ensure it’s a peaceful, beautiful, and welcoming community that we’re all proud to call home.

My extensive land use experience has helped me serve our community on the Planning Commission for the past three years as I’ve worked to improve our city code. As your Councilmember, I’ll ensure the new zoning laws passed by the legislature don’t negatively impact our city, write a balanced budget that maintains public safety and infrastructure, and protect our views. I will make sure City Hall is working for you.

I answer to you only. If you have concerns, I want to hear them. I will respond promptly to your calls, emails, or texts. I respectfully ask for your vote.

Statement:

I’ve lived in Clyde Hill for 25 years and am grateful for our quality of life. I want to ensure we keep it that way. Clyde Hill is surrounded by change and unprecedented growth. We need experienced leaders to navigate the resulting challenges and opportunities.

If elected, I will draw from 35 years of professional experience spanning big tech, startups, and non-profit boards.  I spent my career leading global business and technology teams – work that requires collaboration between the public and private sectors. I’ve solved complex, multi-stakeholder problems, led geographically, culturally diverse teams, and balanced many budgets.

In my retirement years, I’m compelled to focus on local issues. The role of the city council is to listen and be responsive to our residents. I will advocate public safety, resident-friendly policies, sensible solutions to zoning changes, and balancing the budget. I respectfully ask for your vote. Learn more at www.mark4clydehill.com
